THE JGA STORY

The year was 1966 and 11 year old J Greg Allen was taken to the local home-a-rama by his parents. The event was being held in the Carefree communities and that is when he fell in love with home building and the course of his life was set. If you ask his family, they will say that he was born to be a builder, that it's in his DNA.

Since the late 70's J Greg Allen has been on the forefront of innovation, quality, and design of custom built luxury homes in Greenwood, Johnson County, and the greater Indianapolis area. Initially in 1976, Greg started on a venture to custom build his own family home. Neighbors and members of the community started to take notice of the special design and detail, and requested he do the same for them. Before he knew it he was building 25 custom homes a year and had built an impressive following of clients. To date, the Allen companies have built over 2000 homes. That is where the vision started and the legacy began for him and his family, who proudly carry the flag with him today.

The mark of J Greg Allen throughout Greenwood, Bargersville, Northern Johnson County, and the greater Indianapolis area is built on a commitment to excellence, down to the finest of details.
